What to Wear with Pink Shoes

For a second installment of what to wear with these pink shoes, today we'll explore if they can be worn with jeans.

A first "safe" way is to match the shoes with the top, while the jeans play their "cool and unassuming" part.

I picked skinny jeans because I like that they help show as much shoe as possible.

If you want to be more daring, you can try and mix another color or two as I did here.

This look is different than the first one because it's not too concern about making sure that everything matches. But at the same time, it knows that everything matches in a cooler way than the "safe" way. ;)

What I mean by that is, yeah sure it's easy to match pink with pink, but it's when you have a "successful" green with pink, yellow with blue, pink with non-pink match that the results are going to be more satisfying.

Or at least more original.

And these shoes can definitely be worn with jeans.

If you missed the first installment here's part 1.

I think I might have one or two more installment to complete this series.

Both are cute, but I prefer the second outfit. That hoodie is cute!

Do you ever have problems with the slingback sliding off your heel? I got a pair of slingback heels (pretty tight-fitting too) and the slingback just kept slipping more and more off my heel with each step.

I know! I love my new hoodie! :)

These particular shoes, no, they fit just right, plus I think the suede helps keep them in place.

Are your shoes made of leather? And did they start slipping right away on the first day?

They are leather, but they have a small bit of elastic in the slingback. Yes, they were slipping the first day I wore them. I just tried finding a picture but couldn't...they're from the Simply Vera Vera Wang collection at Kohl's. They've got a 4" heel with around .5" hidden platform if that helps.

My heels always seem to slip out of shoes. :S I have some of those sticky pads for the closed heels, but I don't know what to do about slingbacks!
