bikini club - week 10

Going forward there will be no more drills. Just pure discipline. ;)

The only days you can indulge a little (no pigging out, just a sweet something, or a slice of cake, nothing to hurt your diet) will be Saturday and Sunday.

The weekdays will be as strict as you can make them: eat healthy, nothing from cans or boxes, lots of fruits, veggies, and keep the sugars at a minimum. Eat eggs, oatmeal, lean meats, salads, yogurts, fish...

Every day and every meal, pay attention to the food. If you have doubts, put it down. Plan your meals ahead. Don't let hunger catch you unprepared.

I can't take the food out of your mouth for you, so it's now up to you to concentrate and skip anything that you know it's bad for you. Today is June 1st. Technically, you can probably go to the beach in a week or two. Is your body ready? Mine is not! So now it's the time to get really serious.

No more excuses. We are now exercising religiously. No skipping. Four times a week for at least 30 minutes each session. Don't expect great results with less than this.

Pamper your body as much as you can. Catch up with anything that needs it (waxing, scrubbing, haircut...). I leave it up to you to pick your three treatments this week.

And here is the part you all hate: WEIGH IN!

It's been a month and a half since our weigh in. I've lost two pounds, and now I'm at 112lbs. I thought I was going to weight more, because of the exercise and increased muscle mass, but I guess the diet has made more of a difference than the exercise.

Your turn!!! :)

Congrats on the weight loss!!

Not sure if you mentioned this in Week 1 since I'm a new reader, but what was your starting weight? And how tall are you?

Thank you Lindsay,
if you look at older bikini club posts, there is a weigh-in one around mid-April.

I started at 114lbs. My goal was not to lose weight, just to tone up and get some nice bikini abs. But the changes in diet have made me lose some weight. I'm 5'2".

109 lbs

Usual 110-117

Going through challenging-unpleasant times and working out is a combination that causes shrinkage. Never been and unlikely ever feel comfortable in a swimsuit unless is it a one piece, sport style, like the kind Olympic athletes wear.

Lost 5 lbs. - through no fault of my own, I assure you, LOL. I've been ill for several weeks.

Congrats to all you ladies doing so well! I promise to catch up :-)

Maybe I have lost a pound or two, but my clothes feel more comfortable than before, and everyone has noticed that I have lost weight.

I've lost 5 lbs. But even better, I've started really picking up my exercise by jogging...yes jogging. I've always liked hiking/walking, aerobic classes, the gym, etc. but never was into running. And I'm doing a 5k this weekend. I hope to work my way up to a 10k in August.
