I'm loving these Jeffrey Campbell shoes!

It's very rare that I like so many different shoes from the same designer (ok, excluding Louboutin), but Jeffrey Campbell must be the exception to the rule. I also like his prices (can't say the same for Louboutin)!

You can find Jeffrey Campbell on sale at Singer 22.

Gap New Pants

I am not a big Gap fan (except for baby gap stuff), but I have to say that I am very intrigued by their ad about their NEW PANTS.

I'm always in search of the perfect fit for anything, and having a lot of different styles to choose from is definitely a plus, so the idea of finding a pair of comfortable and stylish work pants among the ones Gap is offering is very enticing. That, or I just am a sucker for good advertising.

Louis Vuitton for Mad Men

And speaking of Mad Men fashion, I couldn't help but notice some influence of it in the new Louis Vuitton's Ad.

There is definitely some kind of 60s thing going on here...

Plus the three models remind me of the three leading ladies of the show:

Or maybe I'm just obsessed. Either way, I am still against a return of long skirts and pointy bras...

Mad (wo)Men Style

I've recently started watching Mad Men, and while I am still on season 1, I am beginning to understand why it is such a popular show. If you have never seen the show, I can promise you that it can be tough to digest at times, especially if you are a woman. But after watching it for a while, you learn what to expect and justify it with: "it used to be like that in the 50s/60s" (scary).

One of the reasons why I kept hearing about Mad Men was fashion related, and how these mad men always dressed impeccably, and now I can testify to that, they do dress sharp! I am sure many not-so-mad men today are out there all dresses better because of this show.

But the women?

Well, I am not a big fan of what my mother used to wear, so from this point of view, the show does nothing for me. I think all the ladies are dressed up like little girls most of the time, with their big skirts and puffy sleeves. But if I had to take away one fashion idea, it would have to be the apron.

I don't remember ever having one, but after reading Nina Garcia's Look Book (review coming very soon!) where she writes that every woman should own at least one apron, and then watching this show, where aprons are all the rage... now I want one. And a vintage one at that!

Jessie Steele seems to be a big name with aprons, and I really like this red one above.

Flirty Aprons is another carrier of good looking aprons.

Do you own/wear an apron?

Fashion Disaster: Is that your butt smiling at me?

Ah, the beauty of tight leggings!

The allure of a nude look!

Your butt out in the open for everyone to admire...

NOT!

Please ladies, cover your butts up!

Fashion Jewelry Series: Jules Smith

And here is the 3rd post about pretty fashion jewelry that won't break the bank.

A vintage inspired jewelry collection, fun to look at and to wear. I personally love the jelly bracelets, since they remind me of my younger years, and they can make any casual outfit much more interesting.

These neon jelly bracelets come in a variety of color combinations and if you need ideas on how to wear them... about this?

Fashion Jewelry Series: Danielle Stevens Jewelry

As a girl, I love jewelry. I love it in gold and I love it with diamonds. But as the prices of gold are skyrocketing right now, and many fine jewelry stores are looking for shortcuts (silver with black diamonds!), I am finding myself more and more interested in fashion jewelry, meaning not gold not silver but definitely pretty and feminine. And thanks to my blog, I've come in contact with many interesting jewelry companies that sell terrific pieces, and because I want to share this knowledge with you, I've decided to dedicate a series to them.

So, without further ado, I give you the first post of this 10 parts series about gorgeous and affordable fashion jewelry out there.

Very few pieces cost more than $100, and my favorites from the collection are these pieces with big bright glass stones. So pretty!!!

Support GeboMana T-shirts for a great cause

GeboMana is a newly launched Australian company that produces limited-edition T-shirts.

The reasons why GeboMana stands out from the myriad of other t-shirt companies can be summed up in 3 points:

1. All of their t-shirts are made from 100% certified organic cotton, grown in India.

2. Each t-shirt is handmade (printed, painted, embroidered) in Bali, Indonesia.

3. The Gebo Foundation helps spread education to underprivileged children around the world: the gift of 5 t-shirts is enough to educate a child for a year.

Any company with these credentials is definitely worth taking a look at, so when I received a GeboMana t-shirt to review on NY Spender, I had great expectations, and I am happy to report that their promises are real: the thickness and softness of the cotton is something I've not felt in a t-shirt in a while!

It might not sound like much, but honestly, how many t-shirts out there, and in your drawers, feel a bit too rough on the skin? Too many, if you ask me. And why would you want to wear something rough, when, fortunately, we still have the option of finding good quality t-shirts out there?

The t-shirt I picked is the "Going Up" in black, and I love how the design comes "in and out" of the t-shirt, thanks to the handmade detailing.

Check out their catalog here and you will have a hard time picking only one t-shirt out of the many interesting ones, which feature a fusion of traditional tribal and hip modern designs.

Please consider GeboMana for your next T-shirt purchase and support their great cause: on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/GeboMana. You can also follow @GeboMana on Twitter
