Summer Fit Club - Week 7

This week let's talk about setbacks and acceptance.

What do you do when you start to lose motivation? When the pounds stop coming off? When you're tired, bored and hungry?

You keep going. You look at yourself in the mirror, accept the fact that you're human, and you keep going. You're obviously doing this because you love yourself, so remember that. You love yourself and you want to take care of yourself. And that means not stuffing your face with all kind of unhealthy foods. Not being lazy around the house. Not saying "what's the point?"

The point is that YOU and only YOU can take care of YOU. No one else can do this for you.

And if sometimes the pounds don't come off as fast as you would like, well, it's ok. You need to accept that. And keep going. Accept yourself for what you are and then try to make it better.


So for this week continue doing what you have been doing exercise and diet wise, but start spending some time thinking about how to accept and love yourself more. That mole on your face, that wrinkle on your nose, those love handles, your big butt, your small calves... see them as your own, as what defines you, and if you can't get rid of them, then learn to love them! And then keep going...

Good point Spender! Fortunately I never set out to reconfigure my body, just to get it in better shape, so this is working out well.

I had to google it. Are you talking about a bidding site like ebay? If so, if was probably just an ad...

I think it's a bit more. it seems to be the latest "it" website to bid for products from the latest Marc Kor handbags to ipads for hundreds less. Bidders are charged a small fee for each bid, hence the price for the goods can be kept down. I'm not too sure yet. I'll do more research. I know it's something like Quid Bid (not sure).
